The Ethiopian Ministry of innovation and technology and the Ministry of telecommunications and digital transformation in Sudan signed a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the telecommunications and digital transformation sectors.

Minister of innovation and technology belti Molla and Sudanese minister of communications and digital transformation Adel Hassan Mohamed Hussein signed a memorandum of understanding in Addis Ababa, and the implementation of the agreement is expected to improve relations between people, exchange experiences and cooperation on security issues between the two countries.

During the event, Minister of innovation and technology belti Mola said that his ministry is committed to implementing the memorandum of Understanding aimed at cooperation in the field of telecommunications and digital transformation, noting that "there is a wise strategy and policy, and there is a lot of work that we will do in the two ministries and all other institutions". 

The minister said that the items contained in the memorandum of understanding will enter into force, which are in the interests of the two brotherly countries, and we will remain committed once again to have this relationship with Sudan." 

The two big countries with enormous potential play a stellar role in the socio-political and economic affairs of the region and should work and achieve more together not only for the benefit of states but also for the security and development of the region,"he added. 

Sudanese minister of communications and digital transformation Adel Hassan Mohamed Hussein expressed his readiness to start a new era of cooperation with Ethiopia, and said We are very pleased to hold this meeting and meet officials and look forward to starting a new era of cooperation. 

The signing of the memorandum of understanding between the Sudanese and Ethiopian ministries for cooperation in the field of ICT and digital transformation is a step to take advantage of opportunities for cooperation in the field of telecommunications and digital transformation.

Referring to the unlimited opportunities in this field, the minister stressed the need for cooperation and coordination, and we look forward to getting the maximum benefit from this cooperation in the exchange of knowledge, experience, technology and even the development of joint projects of the peoples of the two countries."

The Sudanese minister invited his counterpart to visit Sudan to discuss the memorandum of understanding together and implement it.
